Working out of Lee County Florida since 1976 Read and Kelley Estate Services is a family owned and operated personal property appraisal business. We specialize in residential and business  contents, machinery, equipment and livestock. We are proud to be experienced in all manner of  appraisal purposes  including  Bankruptcy , Insurance , Divorce and Estate.

Without a doubt we have more experience in Bankruptcy Appraisals than any other appraiser in the Nation. In the past 15 years we have done over 14,000 appraisal reports for the purpose of bankruptcy in the Middle District of Florida . Most of those are court ordered, however we are available for hire to aid a debtor in the proper inventory and valuation of personal property prior to filing for bankruptcy. Our senior appraiser is Joy Kelley Augustine, ISA-AM, GPPA, CEA, AOA-AM, ABA who is accredited through the International Society of Appraisers, and  has earned her GPPS ( graduate personal property appraiser) from  the National Auctioneers Association. Furthermore  she is a certified equine appraiser through the  American Society of Equine Appraisers ,  accredited with the Association of Online Appraisers and is a founding member of the American Association of Bankruptcy Appraisers. She is also proven in both State and Federal Court as an expert witness.
